Capital District Psychiatric Center (CDPC) Design-Build Parking Garage

Albany, NY

Bette & Cring is serving as the design-build prime contractor for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York’s project that will remove and replace the CDPC’s parking garage.

The $37 Million project for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York will demolish and remove the existing 43,000 SF parking garage, two pedestrian bridges, and a storage area. A new 529-space parking facility will be constructed, along with two pedestrian bridges that will connect the structure to Albany Medical Center and the Capital District Psychiatric Center.

B&C reprises a team (Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis Engineering & Surveying, D.P.C., Envision Architects, Dailey Precast (A Peckham Industries Subsidary), that successfully completed three similar design-build parking garage projects in the Capital Region: Saratoga City Center Parking Garage, Downtown Glens Falls Parking Garage, and the Samaritan Hospital Parking Garage.

Demolition of the garage began in February and is expected to continue through the summer.
