“This project involved replacing the CR111 bridge. This is a historic single-span steel-truss bridge over the Hoosic River with a new 195-foot-long structure that was built alongside the original bridge. The new bridge is a two-span continuous-steel multi girder structure, with a center pier in the river. The original historic bridge structure, built in 1891, was rehabilitated and now functions as a pedestrian bridge.”
